Registration is NOW OPEN! Title: Moving on from COVID-19: Supporting the population to sit less and move more during and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic

Dates: 11th November 2020 – 18th November inclusive

Venue: Virtual via ACTIFY website

Active Scotland Division at the Scottish Government and the Physical Activity for Health Research Centre (PAHRC) at the University of Edinburgh are delighted to announce that the SPARC Conference is going virtual in 2020!  In light of COVID-19 physical distancing requirements, we’ve made some changes to our usual set up, and will partner with the online platform, Actify in order to deliver another engaging event.

The event will run from Wednesday 11th November to Wednesday 18th November 2020 with daily ‘hot topics’ featuring webinars from expert speakers; virtual poster sessions, interactive workshops with links to Actify’s excellent repository of practitioner resources and case studies. As well as live, interactive sessions, the digital platform allows delegates to view recorded content at a time convenient to them.

Sitting less and moving more has received unprecedented public health focus during the pandemic. This conference provides an exciting opportunity to connect and share the best evidence and practice to support the population to actively ‘move on from COVID-19’.
