Enabling Return to Sport for people who are blind or vision impaired in Ireland
Under Phase 3 of the Government Roadmap for Reopening Society and Business, the Department of Sport have approved the Vision Sports Ireland Pass-Sport protocol.
By registering with Pass-Sport, you may return to sport with a guide / pilot from outside your household, should you wish. The Pass-Sport registration programme is designed for blind / vision impaired Vision Sports members who require a guide to:
- Travel to and from a sports / leisure facility.
- Walk, run, swim, or other similar exercise activity.
- Play golf, tennis, football, or other similar exercise activity.
- Pilot a tandem
As Pass-Sport is designed to play and participate in sport safely, and simplify any contact tracing requirement, each member must have a registered guide / pilot. You and your guide / pilot should only register and participate in sport together if you both feel comfortable and safe to engage.
Registration can be completed via https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/KSRP3KY.
Pass-Sport is only open to all Vision Sports Ireland members. If you are unsure of your membership status or wish to become a member please contact Alex via email at or phone at 085 8500193
